Prabalmachi Camping & Trek to Kalvantin Durg
Trek India Welcomes you for the Camping at Prabalmachi.
Prabalmachi is located between Matheran and Panvel and comes under the Raigad District in the
state of Maharashtra, India. Prabalmachi is a little hamlet hiding in the hills, so close to our megacity!
It offers a picturesque backdrop of two gigantic Sahyadri peaks Prabalgad and Kalavantin. Located very close to Mumbai, Prabalmachi serves as the base village for famous treks of
Prabalgad and Kalavantin forts. The height of the Prabalmachi village is 390 meters above sea level. The fort was previously known as Muranjan until it was taken over and renamed by the Maratha forces under Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s rule.
