Devkund Waterfall is a virgin place with clear water. It is the s confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of the Kundalika river. It is about a three-hour trek from the base village along the dam backwater and through the forest to reach this place known as Devkund. A major part of the trek goes through some semi-dried forests with the river running parallel and sometimes crisscrossing through the route.
This trek can be done by amateurs as well. The approximate length of the trek is 4.5km which includes a hike alongside the Bhira dam, patches of forest cover, a small water stream, and open fields. There is no big ascend throughout the trek excluding the last 10% which requires a 300ft approx. of gradual ascending to finally reach the waterfall.
There are 3-4 streams like patches where water is poured during the monsoon, give you the thrill of river crossing! Devkund waterfall trek offers the combined pleasures of a lake, tall rock faces, a dense forest with abundant flora & fauna, and a waterfall, all in one place!!
Day 0:- (Saturday)
11.00 pm:- Meet at WEH metro station Andheri
11.15 pm:- Leave for Devkund Waterfall
11.30 pm:- Pick up from Bandra Highway
11.50 pm:- Pick up from Sion Circle Station
12.05 am:- Pick up from Diamond Gadren Chembur
12.15 am:- Pick up from Vashi Bridge
12.30 am:- Puck up from McDonald’s, Kalamboli
Day 1:- (Sunday)
04.30 Am: – Reach Base Village, Freshen Up.
06.00 Am: – Breakfast
06.45 Am: – Introduction Round
07.00 Am: – Start Trek to Devkund
09.30 Am: – Reach Devkund Waterfall
10.30 Am: – Start the trek back to Base Village
12.30 pm: – Reach the Base Village, Take Some rest and have lunch
03.00 pm: – Start the Return Journey to Mumbai
08.00 pm: – Reach Mumbai (tentatively depends on traffic) and promise to meet again.
Event Fee:- Rs. 1250/- Per Person.

All kinds of extra meals/soft drinks ordered.
Any kind of Personal Expenses.
All expenses incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances like roadblocks, bad weather.
Things to Carry:-
Good Trekking shoes & Extra Pair of floaters.
Extra Pair of Clothes (Optional)
Water (min 2 ltrs) compulsory
Some ready to eat food like biscuits, plum cake, etc.
Medicines if any required
1 packet of electrol, enerzal, gluconate D|
Avoid Wearing precious ornaments at an event, if possible.
A haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are free to help each other while trekking. Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc not allowed at the event. Please pack accordingly.
Cover the bag with rain cover.
Covid Safety Guidelines
1. Each member of the group needs to cover three layers of masks, N95. and carry an extra disposable mask with you.
2.It is strongly recommended to wear the caps, full sleeves shirts and full trousers and shoes for the adventure activity. It reduces exposure to your body parts.
3.Avoid touching external surfaces and touching your face when outdoors.
4.Please share your medical conditions while enrolling you for the event.
5.Kindly make sure that you cooperate with the leaders for temperature checks, oxygen level checks at multiple times during the activities to limit the spread of the virus.
6.Avoid touching mask, face, and new surface continuously.
7.Smoking Cigarettes, chewing gutkha, pan masala, tobacco, drugs should be avoided.
8.Participants need to download Arogya Setu App.
9.If any participant, the trek leader test positive after returning from the event within 14 days of the activity. They should maintain transparency and inform Trek India. It will help all others to isolate themselves and limit the spread of the virus and get tested. Participants and Trek India will cooperate to help manage the situation.
10.Ascertain whether any participant has any symptoms of Influenza-like illness (ILI) like fever, dry cough, weakness, severe body ache, etc. at the time of the beginning of the activity. If it is so then he/she should be asked not to participate activity and be evacuated on medical grounds and should be asked to report to the local health authority with his own expenses.
A basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.
We advise participants to not opt for such an event with any medical issues.
We don’t recommend participants to reach the base village with own vehicle as considering complicated route & respecting everyone’s time.
Smoking/drinking/ Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled from the event immediately.
Trek Leader decision will be final & the argument will be entertained.
Participants Safety is the prime concern for us and will not compromise for the same.
Trek India is not Responsible for any baggage or personal belonging loss/damage and participant are responsible for the same.
Don’t expect VIP or Luxurious treatment, as we are going for the Trekking/camping, so be adventurous and free.
